Instructions for use

• Light the moxa stick as usual.

• To apply the moxa briefly, insert the base of the stick into the extinguisher: it will remain lit without risk of falling.

• To extinguish the moxa, insert the stick into the extinguisher until it is completely extinguished.

• Allow the moxa to cool completely before removing the ashes.

Precautions for use

• Never leave a lit moxa stick unattended.

• The extinguisher must be used on a flat, stable surface.

• Check that there are no residues or ashes before re-use.

• Use in a well-ventilated area.

Maintenance

The damper requires no special maintenance. You can remove any residual ash with a dry cloth once it has cooled. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture to preserve the integrity of the wood.

For optimum durability, store the damper in a clean, dry container away from dust and excessive heat.
